Description
Most likely originating in Egypt, but also present in Indian cuisine, this bite consists of a mix of mashed chickpeas along with a blend of herbs and spices which are then coated in fine breadcrumbs. Following the traditional style of cooking, these warm canapes are deep fried to give a crisp exterior contrasting well with their soft interior. Accompanying this bite, you will find a minty, garlic yogurt sauce for dipping.
